Happy Thanksgiving!!
Thank you for visiting my site, and taking time out from your busy schedule and leaving me a nice comment.
Sounds like this recipe must have been around for a while (and I was told it was a family recipe....), however for me it was a new experience, thus new recipe for my site.
Did you roast a chicken for Thanksgiving? I actually prefer chicken meat over turkey, and roast turkey only for Thanksgiving.

Hello Grandma! I made this recipe today (Thanksgiving dinner 2010) -- it was my mom's favorite fruit salad, as it is my family's, too. I included it in our church's cookbook, and everyone who tries it loves it. It is so refreshing, even after a heavy meal. So surprised to see it here. This is my first time at your site, but I needed to check out the chicken that I was cooking for Thanksgiving -- thanks for your help on that. Enjoy looking at your recipes. Janet
