I am an avid tea drinker, and while most people start their morning with a cup of coffee, I begin my day with a fresh cup of hot herbal tea, sweetened with a teaspoon of honey (Orange Blossom Honey is my favorite).
I use a spoon infuser to prepare my cup of tea, and it is a fun and simple process.
Directions to prepare a cup of tea, using a spoon infuser:
I cover my cup during steeping time, to capture the sweet aroma of the tea. I use tea bags to prepare my tea at work, because it is more convenient, but on weekends I usually prepare a whole pot of tea, and enjoy it throughout the day.
Here is a simple way of preparing a whole pot of tea:
I have a matching Tea Pot Cozy to keep the tea warm while I am enjoying it alone, one cup at a time, or with my family and friends. It looks very attractive, and you don’t have to worry about reheating the tea all the time, and stepping away from your guests.
I have sampled a myriad of flavors of tea, but there are always more to experiment with. My favorite flavors of tea are: Ginseng, Ginger, Green leaf, Chamomile, Mint, and fruity flavored teas.
Drinking tea is very relaxing, and healthy for our body. Tea contains antioxidant compound of polyphenols, fluoride, and flavonoids. These properties of tea help the body to fight harmful free radicals, reduce plaque, enhance digestion, restrict buildup of cholesterol, and aid in overall blood vessel health and functionality. It also possesses anti-aging effects.
A friend of mine enjoys her tea so much, that she, and a group of her friends, get together regularly for a tea party. I think this is a wonderful idea, and such a pleasant way to spend time together with your friends.
The hostess of such a nice gathering may chose one flavor of tea to share with the whole group, or turn it into a tea tasting party. In which case she will need to provide a nice selection of various teas, equip each guest with an individual spoon infuser, or even provide several different styles of infusers, and have each guest steep their favorite cup of tea.

1I have made it a point of late to enjoy a good hot cup of tea. I’ve not tried the loose teas yet but have found a few of the Yogi brand tea bags that I really like. I was lucky enough to receive a wonderful pottery mug for Christmas and having that filled with my Yogi Bedtime tea is a wonderful treat at the end of the day.
Thanks for the tips on tea infusing. I may just give this a try!

2I am sure you will enjoy your tea even more, once you try the loose teas. These teas have a stronger aroma, and fresher taste.

3I too enjoy drinking tea all day. I have white tea for breakfast. It has a unique soft flavor, of course it also depends on the exotic fruits that are blend with the white tea. I like Pineapple guava white tea. The Republic of Tea is one brand. When you brew white tea , the water should be just short of boiling and the tea should only be steeped for 30 to 60 seconds. This is a low- caffeine tea.
White tea was reserved only for the emperors and nobility of China. It still remains on of the rarest of all tea. It is hand-plucked only two day of the year, just before the leaf opens.
This tea has the highest level of disease preventative antioxidants known as polyphenols. Try some white tea and tell me what you think.

4I appreciate the very informative, short history of the white tea. I don’t think I have ever tasted it yet, but can’t wait to try it. I will definitely share my review, once I have a cup of the “emperor’s” tea.

6Since I am a tea drinker, I enjoy having tea gadgets to prepare my tea.
I received some authentic tea leaves from India, as a gift from friends who traveled there to visit their family and friends. Very tasty tea, indeed.

7Perfect tea pot cozy! But I insist that you may also include its cup. And a picture of you sipping a cup of hot tea
