In NY state various youth groups, and sports teams, would have a bottle drive, and their parents would drive them around the neighborhood to pick up bottles left for them at the curb. Also schools would have bottle drive on Saturdays in their parking lots, and people would bring their empty bottles there. Does anyone know if these type of recycling events still take place? I can’t believe how many people still don’t recycle!
