Brioche Knotted Rolls – Recipe and steps

I baked other delicious rolls in the past, but this is my first time making Brioche Rolls, and I am very pleased with the results.  These rolls are plainer and less sweet (lower in calories) than the ones I baked in the past, but still very impressive looking and tasty.

Delicious Homemade Rolls – Based on a Japanese Recipe

I have been searching the net for a recipe to resemble specific rolls dating back to the early ’70s, and my memory of summer camp in Ellenville, NY.   Mrs. Kormeluk was the cook at that time, so rolls similar to these were made daily, and served with a cup of cold milk, as an afternoon snack for all the campers.

I have tried several recipes, and tested the texture and taste of these rolls with my children, who also were lucky enough to enjoy the same snack at the same camp, in the ’90s, but by that time, these were baked by Mrs. Tinio.

Butter Rolls – European Recipe

I have been experimenting with different recipes for yeast raised baked goods, such as crescents, breads and rolls.  Some are quite simple and others are more sophisticated, but they all are so heavenly delicious, hence so worth the preparation effort.

Today, I will share my latest recipe for delicious butter rolls, so rich and buttery, and as all yeast raised baked goods, they are at their prime taste right after baking, while still slightly warm….but never served when still HOT.

Yeast raised baked goods need cooling off time before serving, to retain their best texture and flavor.
