Suburban Spring Flowers

Spring arrived almost a month ago, but you would not know that by looking at my flower garden.  With the cold spells, and even snow during the end of March and beginning of April, these delicate plants are having a hard time coming to full bloom.

The two unseasonably warm days of over 70 degrees F we recently enjoyed, really had a positive effect on the plants, and helped them open up a little more.

Today I will share a few of my photos I captured of the current blooms.

Spring Flowers From Cracow

My sister and I share the love of gardening, so we often exchange pictures of our success, or cry over our failures.

I have to deal with Japanese Beetles, and her worse garden enemy is a pesky Vole.

Anyway, today we will be enjoying the beauty of her spring flowers.

It looks like Spring in Cracow is kinder to her flowers, than ours is to mine…:-)

Spring Flowers in Full Bloom

If Spring has not really sprung in your neck of the woods yet, this should reassure you that it is on its way.

So be patient, and before you know it, you will be admiring the beauty of your own garden as well.

Spring Garden – New Additions

The new addition to my west side flower patch is a new flowering plant, called Anemone.
I also added some Pink , White, and Yellow Tulips, to this year’s spring flower beds.
