Ukrainian Wedding With A Very Personal Touch

My family and I had the great pleasure of attending a very special Traditional Ukrainian Wedding. What made this wedding extra special, is that it was very close to our hearts, and many of the traditional wedding items were created by people very close to the heart of the Bride and Groom.

Hanukkah Celebration

During my working years, I have built beautiful friendships with many of my Jewish colleagues.  Now that we are retired, and our lifestyles have changed, it is so wonderful to still keep in touch.  

Today at sundown they will begin their Hanukkah celebration with friends and family. 

My Garden 2021

It has been a while since I shared a gardening post with you.  One of my favorite hobbies is gardening, hence today I will share some pictures of my flower patches and my veggies garden.

Every year I like to make some changes to my gardens, or even reorganize them all together.

Light and Airy Paska – Aunt Maria’s Recipe

I have my favorite Easter Paska recipe, which I have been baking for many years and my family loves it.

However, I was always very impressed by my aunt’s light and airy Paska/Babka, so as soon I received her recipe I baked this wonderful and delicious bread in my own kitchen and was very happy with the final results.  My family fully approved as well.
