Apple Torte with Caramel-Nut Glaze – Recipe

If you love Tortes, but have been looking for a lighter filling, rather than the traditional butter cream, this is a great recipe for you. The cake layers are very thin, and the filling is mostly apples, with a nice caramel glaze.

Hungarian Apple Cake – Recipe

I was looking for a recipe for an apple cake that would resemble a favorite of mine baked by someone at my church, and this one comes extremely close to the taste I recall. European Apple Cake- Sharlotka

This European Apple Cake recipe has been shared with me by a friend of mine, and referred to as “Sharlotka”.  The cake is made out of a very rich batter (lots of egg yolks and butter), which makes it so scrumptious.

Fabulous Blueberry Sheet Cake – Recipe

When blueberries are in season and the prices are very affordable, I stock up and freeze them for later use.
Besides eating them fresh, adding them to pancakes, making filling for my varenyky (perogies), preparing smoothies, I also use them in baking.
I already posted several recipes for blueberry cakes, but today I will share my latest blueberry sheet cake recipe which I love, and I am sure you will enjoy it as well.
