With Christmas Eve just around the corner, many Eastern Europeans will be making Varenyky (Pierogy, Perogy) for their Christmas Eve 12 course meatless meal.
Making them from scratch is an involved process, but totally worth the effort, since all the manufactured ones don’t stand a chance when compared to the real stuff….you will agree if you tasted them both.

This project could not get any simpler, since even though it requires some work from scratch, the main ingredient for the batter is Devil’s Food Cake Mix from a box.
These cupcakes were one moist chocolaty goodness, topped off with a perfectly salted caramel frosting.
Each package of won ton wraps contains at least 48 pieces of these paper-thin wraps. One package has enough wraps to make some Potstickers, plus some of these Lasagna cups, and still have some leftovers for a possible dessert idea.
