August Flower Garden

It has been a while since I shared any of the blooming flowers in my garden, hence today is the day.

Unfortunately, I was unable to add any new plants to my garden this year, since I diligently followed the COVID19 Stay Home policy, and refrained from any unnecessary shopping outings.

My Late Summer Flower Garden

My most favorite season is Spring, but Summer and early Autumn are next on my list.

I love the beauty of flowering plants, and wish they would last forever.  However, the hot weather and the upcoming Autumn season is already marking its presence in my summer garden.

Most of my vegetable plants are done for the season, except tomatoes, so I am hoping that my second try with seeding cucumbers, dill, parsley and red beets will be successful before the frost gets here.  I will keep you posted, as this is my first time ever trying to extend the growing season of these veggies and herbs.

Last But Not Least – End Of Summer August Blooms

Where oh where has the summer gone……?:) I guess I am ready to sing the blues, because my garden is already displaying its signs, of the beginning of an end, of a summer season. Fewer and fewer of the perennials are blooming, so the annuals are taking advantage of the space to spread out their crowns and show off their blooms.

So, let me share a few more pictures of the floral beauty I have been enjoying this year.
