Early Herbs – Suburban Garden

Gardening is my fun outdoor activity.  My garden is too small to be sustainable, but we do enjoy the homegrown veggies, herbs and berries.

Right now my perennial plants came back to life and are loving the sun and warm weather.

My June Garden – Flowers and Veggies

Watching your flower plants produce gorgeous blooms, and your veggies mature for harvesting, is the most rewarding experience of the hobby of gardening.

June is here, so the spring flowers are done blooming, but the perennials are filling out the void by showing off their beauty, and will continue to do so until late fall.

Also, the vegetable garden is progressing nicely and we already are able to use the lettuce, dill, sorrel, parsley, green beans, scallions, rhubarb and strawberries.

Gardening and Cooking – My July Harvest and Recipes

I will list each harvested vegetable individually, and link it to my favorite recipes posted previously, for your cooking convenience and pleasure.
If you like my posts, and/or pictures, please share them with your family and friends, through the above links to Facebook, Pinterest, Google, Stumble Upon, and Twitter. THANK YOU 🙂

My Organic Garden – Herbs, Fruits, Vegetables

I already showed you some of my flower patches, and I mentioned my small organic garden, which I started two years ago. All my plants are cultivated in a mix of mushroom soil and organic gardening soil. I do not use any additional fertilizers, and definitely no pesticides.

I grow perennial herbs and fruits, and annual vegetables.
