Hot Cocoa Mix – Party Favors

Last but not least, I had to share with you a really easy but useful, and quite presentable, gift idea for party favors, stocking stuffer, kid’s gifts, or a thoughtful gift for anyone on your list.

Let it Snow..Let it Snow…Let it Snow…

So, we got some snow, lots of snow, and it still is coming, so there will be more snow, but at least it does not look like these pictures I am about to share with you (you see what I mean by making myself feel better?)

Honey-Apple Brie Bites – Recipe by Pampered Chef

The Honey-Apple Brie Bites were absolutely delicious, and so elegantly presented in prepared phyllo cups. These ready made phyllo cups are readily available at any grocery store, and they come in three colors: natural, red, and green. The chef selected the natural color, to complement the red apples she used in this recipe.

Turkey(Beef)Taco Ring – Recipe by Pampered Chef

If you are looking for a quick and simple idea for a party food that is filling, appetizing, and great tasting, you will love Turkey (or Beef) Taco Ring. It looks great and your guests will think that you slaved over it for hours, but it only takes about 15 minutes to prepare and 25-30 minutes to bake. You can’t beat that!

Sugar wafers – Cookie Recipe

If you are looking for an easy, light (no butter or any other fat used) , and dainty cookies, this is a recipe for you. This is a very simple recipe, quick baking, and produces wafer thin delicious cookies. In taste, these cookies resemble lady fingers or zwieback cookies. I used vanilla extract in this recipe, but I think almond extract would produce a very interesting flavor as well.

These crisp and feather-light wafers make a great addition to a dessert platter for a tea party.
