Tomorrow is Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras – in French), which always falls before Ash Wednesday (the beginning of the Great Lent for Christians), so by tradition, everyone loves to eat, drink, and be merry, on Fat Tuesday.

Chocolate Peppermint bark is lots of fun to make, and a great idea for holiday gift giving.

It became our family tradition to make homemade cornbread, to serve with our Thanksgiving dinner.

Sheet cakes are so much easier to bake and assemble than tortes, yet they still can look very presentable and appetizing. You can be very creative with cutting up sheet cakes, by making individual servings, bite size samplers, diamond, square, or rectangular shapes.
