June Veggie and Flower Garden

It has been a while since I posted an update of my garden…my favorite place for relaxation.

So much already has happened in my garden by now.  All my annual and perennial plants are up, some already passed their bloom time, others are just getting ready.  My June Strawberries are all gone already, and my Blackberries are getting ready to ripen.

Here are some pictures of my plants at the end of June….:-)

Early Herbs – Suburban Garden

Gardening is my fun outdoor activity.  My garden is too small to be sustainable, but we do enjoy the homegrown veggies, herbs and berries.

Right now my perennial plants came back to life and are loving the sun and warm weather.

Broiled/Grilled Salmon – Recipe

I am not a big fan of seafood, but occasionally I do order it at a restaurant or prepare shrimp, salmon, or flounder, at home.

I would also like to remind my readers that when purchasing your fish, try to look for wild-caught fish rather than farm-raised or imported.

Today I will share a very quick, simple, and delicious recipe for broiled/grilled Salmon.

My June Garden – Flowers and Veggies

Watching your flower plants produce gorgeous blooms, and your veggies mature for harvesting, is the most rewarding experience of the hobby of gardening.

June is here, so the spring flowers are done blooming, but the perennials are filling out the void by showing off their beauty, and will continue to do so until late fall.

Also, the vegetable garden is progressing nicely and we already are able to use the lettuce, dill, sorrel, parsley, green beans, scallions, rhubarb and strawberries.
