Miniature Nut Cups (Tea Tassies) – Recipe
My sisters-in-law are experts on making these Miniature Nut Cups, also known as Tea Tassies. These present themselves exceptionally well on a holiday cookie tray, and practically melt in your mouth.

We have a lot of super talented bakers in our parish, and they all love to share their favorite recipes.
This is one of those yummy recipes I received, since I really loved this dessert.
I cut down on the original amount of sugar, since the ready made pie filling I used, is quite sweet.
If you wish to make your own filling, which most likely will be less sweet than this one, you may want to add an extra 1/2 cup of sugar to the dough. I prefer it just the way I posted it.

The middle layer of white chocolate, nuts, and caramel, makes them “oozing” with goodness.

This recipe was posted on the wrapping of a Calphalon baking sheet, which I purchased for a family member.
Since there is a lot of butter and sugar in this recipe, I cut the serving pieces into cute little cubes of 2 x 2 inch….so there is less guilt for having more than one piece at a time….:-)

Today is a Blessed Day for our family, especially for me.
It is also a mixed emotions day, because today is my last chemo treatment for breast cancer.
