The Fat Smash Diet – Healthy Lifestyle

If you have been following my blog, you already know that I am very impressed with The Fat Smash Diet, and I love following all the phases at least once every year, with gratifying results.
Of course, before making this decision, you should check with your Primary Care Physician if your medications and pre-existing conditions will allow you to make these lifestyle changes.

Some people feel it is too harsh (no coffee or alcohol for 9 days…wow…), but it is perfect for my taste and my lifestyle.

Exotic Red Beet Salad – Recipe

Even if you have never been a big fan of red beets, I highly recommend this recipe, and I am sure you will LOVE it.

I had this salad at my friend’s house and loved it much more than the regular red beet vinaigrette we prepare at Easter, hence it became my favorite way to use red beets in a salad.

Couscous Salad – Vegetarian Recipe

I have been searching for recipes with couscous and chickpeas, hence the recipe I am sharing today. It is such a fun vegetarian dish for healthy eating, and a great addition to my recipes for the Fat Smash Diet, and meatless menu.

Refreshing Tomato Salad – Recipe

Cucumber salad

I have just picked some fresh cucumbers from my garden…..they are so fresh and tender you can eat them with the peel on, unlike the ones you purchase at your grocer (no wax coating on these babies….).

Cucumbers may be used in various ways: in tossed salads, tea sandwiches, sliced and served plain or with a dip, in numerous appetizers,  etc.  I love my cucumbers dressed with sour cream or vinaigrette style.
