Thomas The Train – Birthday Party Theme

Trains can be so much fun to watch in motion, but they also make a great birthday party theme for boys or girls. My youngest granddaughter loves trains, so of course it was a perfect party theme for her 2nd birthday.Today I will share several pictures from the different decorations her mom creatively put together for this party.

Vegetable Platter – Money Saver

Every time I see a ready assembled vegetable platter at a grocery store, just to pick up and go to a party, I cringe at its cost. I think it mostly reflects the price of labor, rather than the value of the veggies.

It doesn’t take a culinary genius to cut up raw vegetables, and to arrange them on a platter.

Easy Garlic Bread – Recipe

I used to purchase frozen Garlic Bread, or even the fresh one in the bakery section of my grocer.

However, once I tried making it at home, I am sold on it, and it is my favorite accompaniment with pasta dishes, or tossed salads.

It is so simple to make, since you use ready made French Baguette, or Italian Bread.
