My May Flower Garden
We did not have many April showers to bring May flowers, but the May showers are doing its job a little too much already.
The sun finally peeked out, giving me a chance to take some shots of my gorgeous May blooms.

Gardening if a fun hobby of mine, but it takes time and patience to make it successful.
I was away from home for a week, and my garden “missed” me….:-)…actually it has gone wild.
My flower beds became overgrown with random plants, and my squash totally lost track of it’s “normal” size.
Canna Lily is a perennial plant, yet you can also call it an annual plant, as in many regions its tubular roots need to be dug up for winter, and stored in a cool, dry place for spring planting. Just like another tubular rooted plant, the Dahlia.
Where oh where has the summer gone……?:) I guess I am ready to sing the blues, because my garden is already displaying its signs, of the beginning of an end, of a summer season. Fewer and fewer of the perennials are blooming, so the annuals are taking advantage of the space to spread out their crowns and show off their blooms.
So, let me share a few more pictures of the floral beauty I have been enjoying this year.
