My Late Summer Flower Garden

My most favorite season is Spring, but Summer and early Autumn are next on my list.

I love the beauty of flowering plants, and wish they would last forever.  However, the hot weather and the upcoming Autumn season is already marking its presence in my summer garden.

Most of my vegetable plants are done for the season, except tomatoes, so I am hoping that my second try with seeding cucumbers, dill, parsley and red beets will be successful before the frost gets here.  I will keep you posted, as this is my first time ever trying to extend the growing season of these veggies and herbs.

Pretty Flowers – A Nice Welcome Back

I have been away from home for a week to help out my children with their gardening plans, and to spend some quality time with my grandchildren.

As I returned home, my garden was full of blooms, full of tomatoes, zucchini and cucumbers.

Today I will share some pictures from mine and my children’s gardens.

My June Garden – Flowers and Veggies

Watching your flower plants produce gorgeous blooms, and your veggies mature for harvesting, is the most rewarding experience of the hobby of gardening.

June is here, so the spring flowers are done blooming, but the perennials are filling out the void by showing off their beauty, and will continue to do so until late fall.

Also, the vegetable garden is progressing nicely and we already are able to use the lettuce, dill, sorrel, parsley, green beans, scallions, rhubarb and strawberries.

Flowers, Vegetables and Fruits in Cracow Garden

My sister shared pictures of her currently blooming flowers, some of her veggies and fruits.  All these plants will look very familiar to you all, but they are growing in a well-tended garden by my sister, in Cracow , Poland

My May Garden

All the rain showers we have been having lately washed off many of the early spring flowers, but new ones came up in their place.

Also my veggie garden is fully planted by  now, so all this fine rain is great for my baby plants.

Today I will share some of the current flowers in my garden.
