Detox Smoothies – Brain Boost Smoothie

Recently I found a great post about Detox Smoothies, and of course I had to test them, in order to share my experience with you.
Today I will share a recipe for The Brain Boost Smoothie.
I am sure we all can benefit from one of those on regular basis, to stay sharp and productive in our daily life. Won’t you agree?

- 1 cup fresh blueberries (for dried fruit, see TIP below this post)
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1 tsp. Flaxseed Oil
- Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend for a few minutes, until smooth and creamy.
If blueberries are out of season, you can use the dried fruit. I cooked 1/2 cup of dried blueberries in 1 cup of water, for about 15 minutes on medium heat, until the water boiled out, and the fruit plumped up. This made about 1 cup of juicy blueberries.
